TITAMED® Implant Screwdrivers
IMMEDIATE LOADING
Those screwdrivers were developed to place screws into implants in a fast, safe and reliable way. With the advent of immediate loading, it became a need to dispose of a set of screwdrivers in different lengths, according the situation in the mouth and according the shafts. Indeed, with immediate loading, the choice is to place the suprastructure directly on the implant. Therefore long shafts are needed as access becomes critical.
SET OF FIVE
We developed a set of five screwdrivers in different lengths and nicely arranged in an inox container (IT.3102). The handles are in titanium, the tips are in the hardest of steel (hardness Rockwell C-62 or more). The tips are further treated with CrN or TiN for sterilization purposes.
AS LIGHT AS A FEATHER
The handles of the screwdrivers are chosen in titanium since it is ultra light, compared to inox. Since we mostly work with patients in a laying position, it is not difficult to imagine that a screwdriver in the mouth flips out of the hands. The titanium handle is extremely light and sticks to the tongue and saliva.
EASIER WORK OUTSIDE THE MOUTH
Also, a new generation of screwdrivers for the upper jaw was developed, enabling you to work completely outside the mouth. The design of the instrument was based on optimal length, lightness and slenderness. It was reduced to absolute simplicity and beauty. The aim was to provide surgeons with a genuinely directional feeling and accuracy. The most fantastic screwdriver as well for the lab technician as for the implantologist. Try it out!
