Titamed manufactures a complete range of fixation systems in titanium for the oral and maxillofacial surgeon. The system includes titanium plates and screws for maxillo facial fixation, including the instruments. In 2005 we launched the Smile Distractor®, a Surgically assisted rapid palatal distractor for maxillary distraction.

A, B & G-series Main Instruments mini bone plate and mesh strip system Ø2.3mm. Launched in 1984, it was designed for osteotomies and reconstructive surgery in the face. The system proved to work just as well for fracture treatment.	M-series Main Instruments micro bone plate system Ø1.2mm. The micro series have been developed for osteosynthesis in pediatric bone surgery, fracture surgery and osteotomies of the cranio-facial area.	F-series Main Instruments bone graft micro screws Ø1.2mm. The micro-screws series has been developed for bone fixation in implantology and reconstructive surgery. Its ease of application is unsurpassed by any other system.	D-series UNI-Smile Distractor Smile Distractor Case Studies Patient Information In 2005 we launched the Smile Distractor®, a palatal distractor for maxillary expansion. The Smile Distractor® implements the science of distraction osteogenesis to the maxillary constriction.The surgical assisted rapid palatal distraction is a science that is used more and more worldwide as a tirth dimension in the orthognatic surgery.

Titamed was founded in 1984, more than 20 years ago. Titamed has his corporate headquarters in Wervik, Belgium. Products are marketed through a direct distributor network.
